Rio

Website Terms

These UK website terms explain how Rio distinguishes public site use, quote requests, customer proposals, payment/deposit references, and policy ownership.

Using the public website

The public Rio website and quote journey are provided so UK homeowners can learn about home energy options and request a quote. You should use the site only for legitimate enquiries and should not misuse, disrupt, scrape, or attempt to bypass the service.

Public website content and early quote outputs can change as Rio verifies property, product, pricing, installer, finance, and availability details.

Quotes and proposals

A quote request lets Rio prepare a proposal or follow-up. Customer proposals may include package assumptions, finance framing, signature steps, deposit status, and next steps that are specific to that proposal.

Proposal-specific terms, installer terms, finance/provider terms, warranties, and any acceptance or signature terms are separate from these public website terms and should be reviewed in the proposal or provider flow where they are presented.

Payments, refunds, and cancellations

If a proposal supports a deposit or payment action, the proposal shows whether the deposit is required or optional and any amount known to Rio at that point. Rio records customer, payment, and refund policy version evidence with payment requests for support and audit.

Refund or cancellation handling depends on the proposal state, payment route, provider evidence, and the terms presented in the relevant proposal, payment, finance, or installer flow. Legal/commercial owner review is required before changing production wording that affects payment, refund, cancellation, finance, installer, warranty, or statutory-rights references.
